Illustration started for me as it does for many in my field: countless hours spent in numerous academic courses adorning my notebooks with all manner of doodles and renderings. Over time, I developed a passion for the beauty and richness of traditional and digital mediums, and the ways they can be combined to achieve remarkable results. Illustration can stunningly communicate visually what words sometimes fail to do, and can convey relatively complex information in an instant.

One skill set that sets me uniquely apart is an innate ability to quickly adapt my style, working process and illustrative technique to best serve the communication needs at hand. The advent of digital technology has added an incredible depth of choice and flexibility to the process of image making. My ability to collaborate with and educate a client about this process lends predictability and transparency to the creation of the final, successful deliverable.
